This post is part of Homemade Mommy’s ‘what we ate today’ series. I post what both I ate and what I fed my 3 year old daughter to give this community ideas on how to eat real food and that it is possible to feed a child REAL food.
Yesterday I was in California for a work meeting so it was a bit hectic. I tend to focus on eating simply when out of town and on the run and I always bring some raw cheese with me and some chocolate macaroons. However, for this trip I was lucky enough to be meeting near where my cousins live so I was able to stay with them! They a beautiful garden and raise their own chickens so for breakfast I had the most delicious and beautiful food! Thanks Robin!

I brought some raw cheese from home and I also brought some chocolate macaroons. My work meeting was right near a Whole Foods so I picked up a cured dried sausage and ate that on the plane with my cheese. My cousin gave me some fresh tomatoes as well. The kiddo had a burger, bacon and avocado for dinner. |

It was so much fun having you! Wish we could have had the time to actually cook together and sit down to a leisurely meal of good food and great conversation!
Glad they had a lunch you wanted to eat 🙂
