This post is part of Homemade Mommy’s ‘what we ate today’ series. I post what both I ate and what I fed my 3 year old daughter to give this community ideas on how to eat real food and that it is possible to feed a child REAL food.
I have so many veggies in my fridge that are keeping me busy. I have to use them all up the next few days before we leave down on holiday! I also scored a lot of strawberries yesterday at the farmer’s market so that is why you see so many below…

I made a big batch of basil pesto and mixed that with leftover rice, stuffed it into some tomatoes and topped with cheese and baked for 15 min at 450 – delicious, salad greens, pickled beets, radishes, green onions, bacon, kiddo had some of all of that and some leftover banana pancakes, chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries |
