My daughter’s preschool recently took a field trip to a local farm called Crowe’s Nest Farm.
“Crowe’s Nest Farm is a 501(c)3 private, non-profit educational organization dedicated to fostering public appreciation, knowledge, and wise stewardship of both the agricultural and wildlife resources of Texas.”
This farm is also a sanctuary to all types of animals.
First they did a cow milking demonstration.

Then the group went for a hayride.
And saw some bison and ostrich!
We took a walking tour of the rest of the farm and saw so many more animals.
What does a pig make?
Then the tour brought us to what they called the ‘Faerie Wood’ which was a very cute setting with decorative faeries and neat little artsy displays.
My daughter had the best time. If you live in the Austin area, I highly recommend checking out Crowe’s Nest Farm!
