Here is what I packed for my 4 year old for lunch today:
- What we call a ‘bean-a-dilla’ – homemade black beans cooked in bone broth, gouda cheese on a corn tortilla cooked in ghee
- Salsa for dipping
- half avocado with apple cider vinegar, salt and black pepper
- sliced pear tomatoes from our garden
- Sauerkraut

Does she finish all the lunch? Also, how do you keep the avocado from getting brown? My lil one loves avocado…but won’t eat it if its browned.

Mine used to not eat it browned either..but we kept talking about why it gets brown and now she will eat it. The apple cider vinegar helps to keep it fresh too.

Love these ideas! It’s so helpful to see ideas for healthy lunches, especially as I am expecting and my creativity in regard to food has flown out the window! I love this lunchbox! Living in the extremely rural area I do, I don’t see many good options for lunchboxes. I hope I win, but if not, I may have to look for one of these for myself! 🙂
