This is the likely the best smelling homemade foaming face wash around! But the best part is that it is also amazing for your skin – you will truly glow! This foaming face wash contains what your skin needs to look radiant and firm while also keeping your skin balanced.
Homemade Foaming Face Wash for Radiant Skin
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp sweet almond oil or extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup castile soap (I buy it by the gallon HERE)
- 10 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil (I get my therapeutic grade essential oils HERE)
- 6 drops Patchouli essential oil (I get my therapeutic grade essential oils HERE)
- 4 drops Lemongrass essential oil (I get my therapeutic grade essential oils HERE)
- 2/3 cup distilled or filtered water
Directions
Pour the castile soap, sweet almond oil (or olive oil) into a foaming soap dispenser (these are the best quality I have seen out there). Add the essential oils and swirl to combine. Fill the container with filtered water and screw on the top. Use daily for radiant skin!

I’m interested in your facial cleanser….however I detest Patchouli. Are there any other essential oils that could replace this one?
Thank you for your time.
As always,
Jacki

Actually it smells nothing like Patchouli! It balances out the lemongrass and Ylang Ylang so nicely. I hope you give it a try but really you can do any blend you want!

Never thought so much foam can be created out of natural ingredients. By the way, have you tried any natural facial bleachs or hair-removers?
DomesticGoddess says
Here’s an easy one for skin discolorations: mix white sugar and coconut oil 1:1, can be stored at room temperature. Rub face with an already-squeezed lemon wedge (there should be enough juice left), then scrub with sugar mixture, or just apply plain honey. Wait a while, then shower or remove gently with a warm washcloth.

I was just thinking about making something like this to use as a body wash. I have all the ingredients except for sweet almond oil. Can I use jojoba oil instead? Or should I just EVOO?
Lindsey Gremont says
I think either would work just fine! Enjoy!
