Sneeze much? You know when the pollen or mold is getting to you? Try these home remedies for seasonal sneezies!
I know it is still very cold where many of you are right now but Cedar fever (aka I just lost my voice from that incessant drip from my nose) is really bad in Central Texas. The worst it has been in years. You can actually see the pollen floating around. Many are suffering so I wanted to go ahead and publish this post NOW. It will be helpful for anyone with seasonal sneezies as well as for Cedar fever.
Our Family
We have been doing a lot of the following:
- Rub one drop RC or Raven essential oil blend diluted with one dab coconut oil on the chest 3 X per day. (where to buy)
- Rub Breathe Again roll-on blend on the chest, throat and sinuses 3 X per day. This is a special blend that is frankly nothing short of amazing. It can open up the nasal passages and sinuses STAT. (where to buy)
- Rub Seasonal Sneezies roll-on (recipe below) to the soles of the feet 4 X per day.
- Soothe your sinuses with a gentle sinus rinse 2 X per day (recipe below).
- Use a q-tip to dab a drop of Lavender in your nostrils. (where to buy)
- Rub Lavender around the eye orbit* (the boney part of your eye – *never put oils in your eye).
- Put 2 drops of Lavender in a Tbsp of raw honey and consume twice daily.

Hi Lindsey,
I like to make your recipes exactly like you post the first time and then maybe tweek it the next time I make them. However I want to make your sinus rinse recipe and I don’t have Myrtle or Rosemary. I do have RC, Copaiba and Idaho Balsam Fir coming in the next few days. Would any of those be a decent substitute? Thanks!
As I’ve already shared in our wonderful group, my cute lil family is adjusting to pollen and all that good stuff that comes with living in beautiful Georgia instead of beautiful Arizona! I want to keep us all away from Claritin and other over the counter drugs. Although I’ll be honest, I’m really holding out for that rollerball kit when our group hits 6,000 😉 Maybe it will be my Bingo!
What is the smallest bottle that the roll on will fit?
