What we ate today – 11/16/12

This post is part of Homemade Mommy’s ‘what we ate today’ series. I post what both I ate and what I fed my 3 year old daughter to give this community ideas on how to eat real food and that it is possible to feed a child REAL food.

I made kimchi today!  I will post the recipe next week with photos – this is the really traditional way to make it.  I am so excited about it!

Quick Asian soup with turnip greens, kohlrabi greens, carrots and green onions
Black Bean taco on corn with raw colby cheese, pickled beets, Creme Fraiche salsa dip

Dinner

Coconut milk poached salmon, green salad with avocados and tomatoes, cauliflower ‘rice’, real rice for the kiddo, maple pumpkin pot de creme (recipe to come next week!)
