After a few days off from blogging about this here is what we are eating today:
Breakfast:
me: two fried eggs in coconut oil, venison sausage, sauerkraut, salsa
DD: one fried egg, 1 piece bacon, goat yogurt, applesauce, flax seeds/cinnamon, watermelon
Snack:
DD: banana
Lunch:
me: mixed greens, tomatoes, pickled greenbeans and cucumbers, sauerkraut, a few slices of @saltandtime chorizo, EVOO and Apple Cider Vinegar, cup of potato leek soup with a dollop of Creme Fraiche
DD: egg salad, pickles, sliced raw colby cheese
Snack:
DD: watermelon
me: watermelon (we are flush with it right now!)
Family Dinner:
1st course: potato leek soup
2nd course: roasted lemon/balsamic chicken with roasted purple potatoes (seeing a trend here? I had a lot of purple potatoes from the CSA), carrots, onions, garlic, kale chips, pan juices sauce
dessert: probably watermelon!
