Ladies, let’s be honest here: who here has a love / hate relationship with their hormones and trying to balance them? They seem to rule everything about us, from our skin all the way down to our gut. We can’t live with them and we can’t live without them and they are always fluctuating! So the question is: can we really achieve hormonal balance?
Hormone Balancing: Is it really possible to achieve naturally?
I have been battling with wacky, unbalanced hormones since puberty. Who hasn’t? Over the years I have discovered that so much of what I am trying to resolve with my body is related to unbalanced hormones.
For example, for years I avoided gluten, soy, dairy, and eggs because I was certain that when I ate them, I had digestion issues. But then I got pregnant with my daughter and all of my digestion issues ceased. For 9 blissful months I was able to eat anything I wanted with no ill effects. It was crazy. But as soon as I had my daughter and nursing started to ramp down, my hormone issues (and my crazy digestion problems) returned. Something about being pregnant caused my hormones to be more balanced. More like they needed to be so that my body could function properly.
Here is another example. I was put on the pill at the age of 12 because I used to have such heavy periods that were just awful! I spent years dealing with irritability from those birth control hormones and they likely contributed to many more issues than I realize. Fast forward 20 years and I finally figured out that a great solution to heavy periods is actually the moon cup, which collects your menstrual flow in a natural way that retains your body’s natural ebb and flow. It resolved my issues with heavy periods in 3 months! But I digress…
I wanted to learn more. I went to various acupuncturists and tried all kinds of herbs. Some helped a bit but most did not. And yet I kept searching and learning. I have realized that our hormones are constantly changing depending on so many factors. One solution may work for a short time but will likely need to be adjusted at different times of the month, as we age, and as we have more children.
Embrace Your Imbalances: Learn to Listen to Your Body
So what did I do? I learned to listen very closely to my body. Because all of our bodies are different and require different solutions. I keep an eye out for any changes, both emotional and physical, and I always try to learn new remedies for them. Want to learn about different remedies and how to listen to your body and achieve hormone balance?

sorry to ask this very off topic question on this section.
I was looking at your fermented pickle recipe and I could not find a place to ask a question…… so here goes. How big of a container do you use for them. This is the one I am talking about. http://www.homemademommy.net/2012/09/pickles-fermented.html
I hope this link doesn’t throw this in a spam folder! 🙂
thanks for your help.

I still have no idea on how to attend a FB webinar, even after reading half-a-dozen articles on the web. What’s the step-by-step procedure for this?
